These terms govern use of Berkshire County Inmate Population. By browsing the site, using a search tool, or following a link from the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

Berkshire County Inmate Population is privately owned and is not affiliated with any government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provide consumer reports, background checks, or FCRA-covered screening services for employment, credit, housing, insurance, or similar decisions.

What This Site Is

This site is a private reference for Berkshire County, Massachusetts inmate, jail, court, and custody lookup resources. It stores no official jail roster, booking sheet, mugshot, warrant, court docket, CORI record, or release record.

The site points readers toward public agencies, public-records request steps, and third-party research tools. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, file court papers, post bail, seal a record, or speak for the Berkshire County Sheriff's Office, Massachusetts Department of Correction, MassCourts, BOP, ICE, or any other agency.

Rules for Use

  • Do not use the site in a way that violates federal, Massachusetts, or local law.
  • Do not use information from the site to stalk, harass, threaten, shame, or intimidate anyone.
  • Do not use site content or partner results for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or other screening decisions.
  • Do not try to gain unauthorized access to any site system, account, server, or partner tool.
  • Do not run bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated requests that burden the site.
  • Do not disrupt the site, interfere with other users, or bypass security controls.

No Consumer Reports

Berkshire County Inmate Population is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The site does not provide consumer reports, credit reports, employment screens, tenant screens, insurance screens, or private-investigation services. Public records may also be limited by Massachusetts CORI rules, including definitions in M.G.L. c. 6, Section 167, and by sealing law such as M.G.L. c. 276, Section 100A.

  • Employment hiring, firing, promotion, or discipline decisions.
  • Tenant, roommate, housing, or rental screening.
  • Credit, loan, debt, or insurance eligibility decisions.
  • Licensing, permits, benefits, or government-program eligibility.
  • Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA or similar consumer-screening law.

Outside Links

The site links to sheriff pages, jail resources, MassCourts, Mass.gov, VINELink, BOP, ICE, laws, and third-party search services. Those outside sites are not controlled by Berkshire County Inmate Population. Their content, uptime, prices, forms, privacy policies, and terms are their own responsibility.

No Warranties

The site is provided as is and as available. We do not promise any of the following:

  • That every address, phone number, rule, custody status, court detail, fee, or link is accurate, complete, or current.
  • That the site will always be online or load without delay.
  • That the site or partner tools will be free of bugs, errors, security issues, or interruptions.
  • That any partner search result will be complete, useful, or tied to the right person.

Custody records, court records, public-records responses, CORI access, sealed records, and agency rules change often. Nothing on this site is an official statement from a sheriff's office, jail, court, corrections department, or federal agency.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Berkshire County Inmate Population and its owners, operators, contributors, and partners are not liable for losses, damages, claims, costs, or expenses arising from use of the site, inability to use the site, reliance on site content, partner search results, or linked resources.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Berkshire County Inmate Population from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the site, misuse of information, violation of these terms, or violation of another person's rights.

Severability

If a court finds part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections remain in effect. The invalid part will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
